Feel free to post examples of how you would like Superman to look in the Reboot.

But be prepared for the responses you are bound to get...

I'll go first. I saw this at SingerHomohype, and I think it's pretty decent:

I ain't got nothing right now & haven't learned how to post pics on here anyway yet like I said previously. Anyway, that suit looks fine except for all of those 'creases'. What's up with that? Those creases remind me of Singerman. Lose the creases & something like that would probably be fine, that is, provided Cavill can fill out the suit.

I would take it, just so they can say "See! It's DIFFERENT!", without actually changing anything.

Not crazy about the wonky shape of the belt or trunks but otherwise it looks pretty good to me.

Well, it's miles ahead of the last suit just because the colors are right. I still can't get over how Singer f*cked that up.

I like the look seen in that JLA game trailer, like above "classic but modern"

Getting the neck line correct makes a big difference too. The T-shirt collar on Ruth's costume was plain wrong......IIRC they had to "tighten" up the neck line on that suit to cover the padding.

Here's my suggestion...

The pic below is what I've been looking all over for and been waiting for the day to post until now! This is a prime example of what I want the supersuit to look like and the reason why I thought leather was the way to go!

Suit Suggestions Supes10

Here's a full body shot...

Suit Suggestions Lexluthor

With some added details such as... Red design scheme below the waist (Instead of trunks), straps on each side of the boots, length of the cape reaching the back of his knee caps with a reverse colored red & yellow S symbol and the belt buckle being rounder and curvy.

Embossed S? Yeah, cuz that turned out so well last time. An embossed S has to be kept small so as not to restrict the actor's movement. I guess an embossed S that size is great as long as you don't mind a "Super"man who can't raise his arms.

Leather? Dude, this isn't Watchmen. Hell, it's not even SV. I could buy leather costumes (for some stuff) in those but in a Superman film? Leave leather out.

In short, that suit is "pacifically" everything we should avoid.

An embossed S isn't really a problem as long as it's part of the suit and not attached to it!

Yes, by all means, let's have a leather/pleather Superman suit (BJ anyone?). And let's also lose the trunks, er, I mean, 'underwear'. Suspect

AP i like the suit you posted in original post. As for suit, i definately dont want any leather for the "Blue Tights" parts of suit or the material SR used. Something in line to what underarmor is for sport players would be cool. But of course be a higher caliber material. Just so we can see muscle defination and actor can bend and flex his arms and all that. The S Shield should be screen printed onto the "tights" materials or be a sewed on patch like the dean cain suit did. Only leather material i would be ok with on the suit is for the belt and/or the boots. As for neckline definately a more open width and cape can flow over shoulders and all that and not look all bunched up on the neck. Then for the cape material maybe a silk like material.

In other words, you want a piece of shit costume for Superman to wear in the reboot.

Got it.

No, actually more likely an updated version of the traditional attire in other words, a modern suit that retains the classic style!

Hey, xXkryptoniteXx, explain to me how the words "modern" and "classic" AREN'T an oxymoron.

I go for this S symbol too but unfortunately their some folks here who seem to have a problem with Supes having an embossed S, surprised nobody bitched about this one! Still not a bad pic though!

It's the name he uses on comicbookmovie.com.

Here's what he should look like in the Reboot:

Suit Suggestions Adam%20Hughes%20-%20Superman%20(2)

And is it just me, or does this drawing by Adam Hughes put off a "Cavill" type vibe? I kinda see it....

01- Adam Hughes is the man.
02- The drawing should prove that much.
03- Yeah, it looks vaguely Cavill'ish to me with a little Birthright thrown in for good measure.
