Looks pretty much the same as the one from TDK, I really don't see the difference!

Glasses. Look into them.
For those with bad eyes, here's a comparison:
'The Dark Knight' (2008)
Possible 'The Dark Knight Rises' (2012) Suit:
Anyone else see the differences?

Re: POSSIBLE 'TDKR' Suit Pic
The more I see this picture, the more I think it would be perfect for TDKR. Just keep the cowl black, and that's it.
Having a grey & black costume has never been done in any of the Batman films. Maybe they should give it a shot?

If it's the color scheme that you were actually refering to from the start than yes thats the only difference I see!

Re: POSSIBLE 'TDKR' Suit Pic
One thing not many people have remarked upon is that this was shot in the daytime. Unless this becomes a day-for-night shot (which, let's face it, is possible), you've got Batman... scrapping down with Mini-Bane... in broad freakin daylight.non_amos wrote:WOW! I honestly don't know where to start with that.

And I'm kinda concerned about this plot-line. Remember that at the end of TDK that Batman was on the run from the law, by choice. Well, if I'm not mistaken, those scenes being filmed have any number of cops in them also fighting criminals I suppose, but there's Batman right in the middle of them, which gives one the impression he's fighting alongside the cops. So what's up with that?

Actually, they are going to make it look like they are fighting in the middle of a snowstorm. That way they can "obscure" certain vertical obstacles in the scene.

Hmm. Too lazy to double check but I swear to think the chest piece has been slightly redesigned to better show the bat symbol. Could be wrong but I think the "stripe" thingy there is new.

It's darker than the surrounding pieces, so it stands out more.

Overall, the TDKRises suit seems more like "evolution" than "revolution" so far. Which isn't a criticism. Or a praise, for that matter.

I wish they'd bring back the yellow oval symbol like Michael Keaton wore. Ditto for the Bat-signal too. Even more ditto for the comics.

Re: POSSIBLE 'TDKR' Suit Pic
Ditto and ditto, sir. I kind of have to blame BTAS for this one too. When they moved over to the WB, they understandably wanted to make Batman "look darker" because of the number of costumed supervillains they were throwing into the mix. Contrast, you see. But this shit has influence far beyond the TV and then it became dogma in the comics too. There was a time when the non-oval thing was indicative of a year one Batman. Now, who the hell would ever know the difference? And yes, it has ramifications for the movies too, which desperately need to bring the yellow oval back.non_amos wrote:I wish they'd bring back the yellow oval symbol like Michael Keaton wore. This is one reason why I'm really going to miss the post-Return of Bruce Wayne outfit. It was a bit more of a traditional Batman costume. His gauntlets were pure Nolan, it seems to me, but the rest of his outfit looked like his pre-No Man's Land suit but with the addition of a glowing yellow oval to his chest. Of course, DC had to make double-time in deleting that in The New 52.
Freakin sucks...
