I saw that too about Crowe in Plano but somehow I get the impression the guy still hasn't spilled the beans yet! Sure, that may be major but you'd think he would say, "Hey guys! Here's the big announcement! It's..........! Instead he reports Crowe as just 'hunk-dory', 'matter-of-factly'. So I can't help but feel like we're still waiting?!

Hey, get this! This guy is claiming that the 'S' shield is in the teaser poster for THE DARK KNIGHT RISES! I obviously can't post the pics (yet) but anyone who can, feel free to. Although I can see the point he's making, it also makes you wonder if he's seeing something where there's..........nothing? But what if this is correct? Wouldn't it 'violate' Nolan's own principles of his 'self-contained' Bat-universe?!

No, The Superman Logo Isn’t Hidden In The New Batman Poster, But Anyway
Submitted by Brendon Connelly on July 12, 2011 – 5:36 am (22) comments
Last year, the face of Jesus appeared in a frying pan.
Back in 2009, he appeared in a Kit Kat.
And inside the lid of a jar of Marmite.
And who can forget the time he masqueraded as a Dalek? Not me, that’s for sure.
Well, it’s happening again.
ComicBook.Com are alleging that the Superman logo has made a magical, spiritual ghostly appearance in the new Dark Knight Rises poster. I think the argument is this: Chris Nolan is directing the Batman film and producing the Superman film, therefore he would (for some reason or another) request an Easter Egg of this nature to be hidden in the promotional material.
Yeah. Sure he would.
Here’s the poster for you to scrutinise, and then I’ll show you where the Superman S is meant to be.
Not quite capable of seeing things that aren’t there? Me either.
But here’s an indication of where the apopheniacs are seeing the big S.
And here’s a definition of pareidolia, from Dictionary.Com:
the imagined perception of a pattern or meaning where it does not actually exist, as in considering the moon to have human features.
As you were, message board fantasists.

Apparently the Facebook dude misled us! The supposed 'news' was his announcement of his own SWEEPSTAKES!]

And you know that everyone & their cousin thought it was major film news!

@John the announcement was for the Race to 10k. After posting last night and seeing the responses, I realized that the choice of adjective was off. I'm so sorry. If I have caused u or anyone else an offense I sincerely apologize and please know I ask if it can be forgiven. We negotiated hard for 2 months on this give-a-way.. and I still didn't get everything I wanted for the fans. This whole page is for you and the others, and I only want it to be a positive experience. I'm so sorry if my choice of "big" made ppl think we were posting breaking news. We won't actually hoard and hold onto breaking news, or any kind of news... we post it straight away. Heck, Neil stayed up way late in the UK b'c of my word choice. I couldn't feel any worse knowing the fans may feel disappointed. Can you forgive my mistake with the word "big?" ~Monica

Re: We Need Some Movie News
^ In furtherance thereof...
That said, and with the proviso that I didn't like what little I saw of 300, I kinda hope this is true. Look, it's pretty far along in the game. At this stage, you're not doing a page 1 rewrite of the script. Too many sets have been built, too many locations have been decided upon, too many roles have been cast. Too much work has been done to massively rejigger everything at this point. No, my good friends.
My hunch then is that the nature of the work is less about locations and effects-driven stuff (as if I was ever worried about that with Snyder onboard anyway) and more character and dialogue. That's good news as Goyer has never impressed me with his "talent" for either. If interviews are anything to judge by (which is arguable at best), Snyder has some grasp of what Superman is all about. If Action Comics #900 is anything to judge by (and I'd say it's beyond debate at this point), David Goyer DOES NOT.
Assuming you buy into this RUMOR at all, I don't see it as necessarily a bad thing. (A) It's not like it'll change much of the momentum of the production (for better or worse) and (B) it's also not like Johnstad is going to fuck Superman up more than Goyer already did in Action #900.
Put another way "a bunch of guys have heard from a bunch of other guys that they assure us are kosher that fan non-favorite David Goyer will be getting semi-replaced by a guy that worked with Snyder before."Comicbookmovie.com wrote:Zack Snyder Hires 300 Writer Kurt Johnstad To Rewrite Man of Steel!
Now that David Goyer is busy working on Godzilla, Zack Snyder has reportedly tasked 300 writer Kurt Johnstad to take a look at the script, while a certain Nolan brother has also taken a look...
According to the guys over at Moviehole, a couple of their more reliable scoopers have been in touch over the weekend with some very interesting news regarding upcoming Superman flick, Man of Steel. With Warner Bros. hiring David Goyer to pen Godzilla, Zack Snyder has had to look elsewhere, going back to 300 collaborator Kurt Johnstad and even letting Jonah Nolan (brother of The Dark Knight Rises director, Christopher) take a look.

Re: We Need Some Movie News
Sounds like someone took a HUGE leap from Point A to Point B.
I think that this is for "on the spot" re-writes that are done on-set all the time. Goyer can't be there throughout the production, so Snyder needs someone's he trusts and can count on.

Re: We Need Some Movie News
Totally ap I seen folks bitching on this at other sites. When it could just be polishing scenes up to fixing/cutting down scenes for budget reasons. Or snyder has this guy on board for when filming is under way to make any minor changes that could happen in filming. All pretty normal things on a film production. I have seen it myself on shoots I been on.

Re: We Need Some Movie News
I know this dosen't qualify as movie news but I just happen to come across an article over at Supermanhomepage.com involving the partnership between DC Entertainment and LEGO Group to form LEGO versions of DC Characters which will be titled "LEGO DC Universe" there I spoted a photo of LEGO versions of Batman & Green Lantern but here's the catch... Their featured in their movie versions (Batman in his TDK suit and Hal Jordan in his GL movie suit) but I aslo notice a LEGO version of Superman and after a closer inspection I'm given a suspicion that this may be a glimps of what the MOS suit may look like! I know some may have their doubts but I find this a strong possiblity, here's the photo so you can see for yourself...

Re: We Need Some Movie News
That was sort of the entire point. A traditional version of The Suit alongside movie versions of the other characters... so might that imply that the Snyder outfit will be The Suit rather than some unnecessary "redesign"?webhead2006 wrote:I don't think so looks to be just classic look there.
On the other hand, these Legos were likely designed months and months ago, when the Batman and GL suits were already well known while the Snyder suit may not have even been designed by that point. I could see that process taking six or eight months, which may even pre-date Snyder's involvement with the film. If that's the case, Lego may have simply slapped The Suit on the Superman figure since they had no other alternative.
But I'm trying to stay positive here.

Re: We Need Some Movie News
Their might be some concept arts made probably during casting so maybe LEGO was lucky enough to be provided a glimps of them before working on the Superman minifigure courtesy of the WB! But thats just a hunch BTW!!!

I went to that link last night & it had a pic of Amy Adams as a brunette, no doubt for her part as Lois. Now I just went to that link again & it states 'PAGE NOT FOUND'. However, even last night other places like Facebook were reporting that such articles that had been posted were being quickly pulled! Do I sense the hand of Christopher Nolan here or what?!

Ya I heard of that too. Probably could be nolan though he is busy with batman right now. So maybe it was snyder who didn't want stuff out yet. Also I read that some buss accident scene was also filming too. Which sounds neat. A bus going over a bridge.

Did you forget to add the 'wink' to that?
That was in the first Superman film. Why do we need it again? Are we to have another 'plane rescue' also? Maybe Lois falls out of a helicopter? How about preventing a couple of nukes? "Yesss, Mr Lu-thhhooorrrrr!"
