Aside from Andrew Garfield having that "Twilight" style hair dew and the suit being not so traditonal wise can someone explain to me whats with the black print that he has over his crotch?

Mmy guess its probably just an athletic cup andrew/stunt guy wearing under suit and its sorta coming through the material maybe. Then hopefully in post color correct that spot.
