I disagree. It looks like they arbitrarily decided to throw "piping" and "zig zags" on it so they can say "See! This Spider-Man is DIFFERENT!!!"

And that's how we got the Singerman "costume".

Was his "cartridge" on the outside of his costume at ANY point in Spider-Man's existence? I'm no expert, not by a long-shot, but I would venture a guess and say nope.

Actually it was for some of ben reilly spider-man suits. Speaking of the costume that brings up a question who is the costume designers on the film. Is it anyone from raimi films. Or did marc hire totally new folks.

I can't figure out if he has the red spider emblem on his back or not. It could be a shadow in some of those pics... or it could be gone entirely.

Some cool photos. As for back spider I have seen it in some photos and others not. I am guessing ones its not on is the stunt suit and angle of shots are not going to see the spider.

Was just reading about that. Sounds like if true would be a cool squence in the film. Maybe it will be based off any tales of lizard wanting to turn more folks into lizards or that current asm storyline called shred.

Nice photos, of shooting. Saw two of them earlier so was nice to see a couple more. Also I do wonder if the eyes in the film will end up looking yellow. Or if its something for special effects.

I'm coming back to this. This movie isn't completely a reboot? I've opposed the idea of rebooting this franchise from Day One. But, hey, if a reboot must be done, then completely REBOOT the motherfucker!

But how can you tie this in with the previous franchise? This Spidey has web shooters and seems to be doinking Gwen Stacy in high school. Both are pretty significant departures from the Raimiverse.

If Sony wanted to continue the Raimiverse, then why the hell didn't they just let him make his Spider-Man 4 (which would've come out the same year as the reboot)?!?!

I think the film is a total reboot, everyone else has said that. Only avi was saying what he didd. Which I don't think is what the film really is and all that. Pretty much what ap said I believe a page ago of avi speaking out of his ass.
