Refresh me on this. You're not into Cavill's hair? Someone else pointed out that it looks sort of like how Welling's hair was done toward the end of Smallville. I can see that too. I think I would like his hair whether it was "Welling'ish" or not.Apologist Puncher wrote:The hair thing still bugs me.

Yeah, that was me that pointed that out.

BJ Routh's hair was parted right-to-left:
Superman's hair is parted left-to-right:
Even after the abomination that was 'Singerman Peeps', unbelievably Cavill's hair is ALSO right-to-left:
This bothers me.

Re: 'Man Of Steel' Set Pics/Vids
I chalked that up to the possibility that Cavill's hair may look better when parted that way. If I'm not letting the elimination of the trunks from The Suit put me off from giving MOS a fair chance (and I'm not), it would seem strange to draw the line at which way his hair is parted.
The fact that, as you say, it is similar to Routhman's version... well, that is a bit unnerving.

Re: 'Man Of Steel' Set Pics/Vids
In other photos his hair looks to be just comb back then parted this way or that way. But ya if you are doing the s curl hair style definately has to be the way reeve had his hair so the curl falls. More naaturally and forms the curl better. That was way wrong with routh style. Or you cut out the curl totally like how welling clark/herolook was and just have hair more natural look and have strands fall into a s curl in windy situation.

It definitely won't stop me from seeing the film. If I can sit thru 'Singerman', I can sit thru ANYTHING.

Hence why it bugs me.

Oh? Suppose Singerman 2 had somehow gotten made. Could you have sat through that?Apologist Puncher wrote:It definitely won't stop me from seeing the film. If I can sit thru 'Singerman', I can sit thru ANYTHING.

Why not just ask me if I can cut my own arm off with a rusty pocket-knife?
Sure I could, but would I?

Hm. Well, I honestly don't know that I could've made it through Singerman 2. Just the idea of it depresses me. So you, and my hat is off, are made of tougher stuff than I am.

Meh, who's to say I wouldn't be in there, causing a ruckus? What better place to put my screen name to practical use?

Re: 'Man Of Steel' Set Pics/Vids
The problem there is that the sparsely attended theater would likely be occupied either by curious (and ignorant) moviegoers or else people who somehow ended up in the wrong place. There were never so many Apologists out there that they could fill theaters across the whole country. There are simply not that many miserable, overweight, bloated, middle-aged divorcees out there. So I think yours would actually be a relatively target-starved environment.Apologist Puncher wrote:thecolorsblend wrote:Hm. Well, I honestly don't know that I could've made it through Singerman 2. Too true. BUT, they do make themselves easy targets to spot, even in a dark lonely theater.
They'd be the one furiously masturbating to BJ Routh on-screen.

Paul 'Pee Wee' Reubens wouldn't happen to be in that theater now, would he?

Nah, he strikes me as someone with better taste than your average Apologist.
Now MostPowerfulVaginaStenchFromStarGazingSolaris? THAT pig would be going to town on her nasty bits if 'Singerman 2' had ever been shit into theaters.

Pics ain't showing up on my end yet. When they do, look for the one with Costner looking directly at the camera. I guess he's totally aware of the eager fanboys (or paparazzi) trying to get 'leaked' pics. And as someone pointed out in comments, 'Sullivan's Tractors'? Hmmmm.
EDIT: That pic has now shown up.

Haha ya kevin had to have seen the photographer in that one shot. Also take a look at school jock jackets look offly like the ones we saw on sv. Wonder if thhey are reusing some. As for sullivan sign. Would be nice if its a nod to chloe/her family in mos. But could not be also. Could be sullivan is a fairly regular name, could be name of real business they are filming at, who knows.

I wasn't going to say anything but since you implied the connection, those letter jackets look like SV leftovers to me.non_amos wrote:Pics ain't showing up on my end yet. From the looks of it, we are going to get far more 'Smallville' references than we are Singerman one's.
Any complaints?

Not from me. Mind you, short of a bastard kid, a "Singerman reference" is likely a Donner reference so I doubt anybody would notice.Apologist Puncher wrote:From the looks of it, we are going to get far more 'Smallville' references than we are Singerman one's.

But I'm certainly not complaining about SV references/influences.

I have a feeling Snyder hates Singerman ALMOST as much as we do.
But I'm certainly not complaining about SV references/influences.
No problems here either.
