The hairline, the cheek bones, the set of the eyes, they all look like Michael Shannon to me. I wasn't too familiar with Shannon before watching the first season of Boardwalk Empire (unspeakably badass TV show, by the by). I suspect the same is true of others. The fact that he's not immediately recognized by a lot of people isn't too big a surprise.

Anyway. Looks like Shannon to me.

If it isn't shannon probably one of the other mo cap actors.

I just can't wait to see how shannon zod looks. Then of course who/what the other mo-cap guys are. I got a question does any one know why mo-cap suit has variety of different color patchs? Is that something to help the fx artists out along with the censors on suit?

those are some nice pics, i wonder if the dp globe is maybe a mobel in lobby for dp along with a larger one on top of building added in post via cg? that is what some think on the fb page.

Thats the same thing I'm thinking so it makes me wonder how the main Daily Planet Globe would look which would definitly regiure CGI!

Why in the hell would it "reguire" CGI?

You didn't think that they'll actually built a Daily Planet Globe on top of the building that their going to use for filming did you? Unless they construct a model that they can project through a green screen then CGI is the only way to go! They done it in "Smallville" and regrettably "Superman Returns" so why not "Superman: Man of Steel"?

No so sure about an "Autumn Frost", but they are in for an early September Frost the next few mornings...

Well one reason the globe on top of dp could be cg is they cant physically build a globe and put it on top of the real building. I still think the globe we saw here is some decorative thing for lobby of the daily planet, and then any exterior shots we see of the board of trade building will have it digitally inserted. But we will have to see.
