But we didn't have any official statement on it. Now we do. The post from non_amos (if that is his real name) is legit.

If we're repeating ourselves, I'm saying his post is valid because it explains WHY her costume changed.webhead2006 wrote:Ya I know tha I was just pointing out we known about the new suit since photos hit the web a few weeks back and all.

Re: Wonder Woman's Return To TV
I just got word from Comicbookmovie.com that the "Wonder Woman" pilot may not be picked up this fall due to the status of the production not going so well. Here's the news video from UGN.com's "Weekly Wood" that confirms it...

I just watched that vid. That seems to contradict news I read last night about there possibly being a THIRD costume more in line with the traditional costume but I'll have to find the link. However, if this pilot does not get picked up, what then happens to everything they've filmed thus far?!
As for the 'top 100 superheroes of all time', why did that chick deliberately avoid any mention of SUPERMAN?! It's a wonder he's even pictured on the website itself, & I can't even find out who the 'top 20' are. What kinda crapola is this?!

Re: Wonder Woman's Return To TV
Well its disapointing if it doesnt happen. Definately would love to have another dc hero show to watch. But This article/info from deadline has more positive news reguarding the pilot/possible series pickup:

Wonder Woman Pilot Update: Getting “Positive Reaction”
Nellie Andreeva at Deadline.com has posted the latest pilot update, and finally some encouraging news for Wonder Woman:
The biggest news out of NBC is that David E. Kelley’s WONDER WOMAN pilot has been delivered and it’s getting positive reaction.
Less than two weeks until NBC’s Fall 2011 schedule is announced!

So is it a go.....or no?!‘Wonder Woman’ Has 3 Costumes, Says NBC President
According to NBC president Robert Greenblatt, the two ‘Wonder Woman’ costumes leaked online thus far will BOTH appear in the series – along with a third costume, inspired by Wonder Woman’s original look.
There’s been quite a bit of talk over the costumes sported by Wonder Woman actress Adrianne Palicki and her stunt double in leaked shots. As it turns out, we may have only seen two thirds of her superpowered wardrobe.
NBC entertainment president Robert Greenblatt spoke on Dianna Prince’s various costumes yesterday. Apparently the modified costume with the red boots and reduced-glare pants is only one of three outfits viewers will see when the series debuts. The first was leaked last month to much skepticism, and the third has yet to be revealed.
Three costumes intended for Wonder Woman‘s maiden season sounds odd, especially considering the stylistic similarity of the two seen thus far. But producers might be going for both and updated and a classic look – and considering the negative reactions thus far, a little fanservice in the new series couldn’t hurt.
If you believe Greenblatt, the final costume is the one that Wonder Woman fans have been waiting for:
“There was an initial outcry about the long pants – you know, skintight pants as opposed to those little shorts. They are actually used in the final confrontation when she beats Veronica Cale (played by Elizabeth Hurley).”
Greenblatt was reffering to the costume sported by Lynda Carter in the original 1970s TV series. Carter’s costume was a pretty faithful recreation of Wonder Woman’s comic book outfit, and emulating the look for Palicki would go a long way towards assuaging doubtful comic aficionados.
Wonder Woman fans, take note: the president’s comments spill a pretty major plot point for the first season. We already knew that Hurley’s Veronica Cale would be a major villain, but it looks like she’ll be a consistent presence on the show for at least the first season, leading to a confrontation and defeat.
The president dismissed the idea that fan feedback resulted in a redesign for the second leaked costume. “We haven’t made any changes from what was planned.” Greenblatt said he’d rather have a passionate response from fans than a lukewarm one, even if that response is overwhelmingly negative.
When asked about a fall premiere for Wonder Woman, Greenblatt wouldn’t commit to a firm timetable. While NBC would surely like to have the initial episodes ready for premiere season, that may not be possible, considering the extensive work required in filming and post production.
So, will David E. Kelley’s take on Wonder Woman please the crowd, or fizzle like The Cape and No Ordinary Family already have this year? Viewers will decide when the new series (eventually) premieres.

NBC Passes on Wonder Woman
by Silas Lesnick
May 13th, 2011
David E. Kelley's "Wonder Woman" television series has failed to find a network pickup at NBC, says a story at The Hollywood Reporter.
The series was planned as a reinvention of the iconic DC Comics title in which Wonder Woman (Adrianne Palicki) is both a vigilante crime fighter in Los Angeles, a successful corporate executive (as her alter ego, Diana Prince) and a modern woman trying to balance all of the elements of her extraordinary life.
The pilot was written by Kelley and directed by Jeffrey Reiner ("The Event") and also featured Elizabeth Hurley, Pedro Pascal, Tracie Thoms and Cary Elwes in the cast.
With NBC declining to give the go-ahead, it is unlikely that the comic book adaptation will see the light of day as a series. What is more likely -- albeit, not a guarantee -- is that the produced pilot could be released in one form or another, as was the case with the unproduced "Smallville" spinoff, "Aquaman", which was released on iTunes and sold as a Best Buy exclusive.
What Aquaman pilot?! But yeah, this one's 'one & done'.

Re: Wonder Woman's Return To TV
Just heard the news over at Comicbookmovie.com! Oh well, better to leave it in limbo rather than going foward with it thus exploiting it's flaws to the public! Aleast this will make more room for a big budget WW movie to be made along with a possible conjoined "Justice League" film.

"Too little"? Not sure about that. I could stand to see a littler outfit for her. Really. I could.Apologist Puncher wrote:

What's the harm of posting any news on the pilot. I just posted for any one to see who might not saw the news.

Because as far as pop culture is concerned, the 'Wonder McBeal Woman' tv show never existed.

I just don't get the fascination with something that was a train-wreck from Day One.
Then again, I've NEVER been a rubber-necker either, so that might explain it.
