Re: Wonder Woman's Return To TV
Ya hard to please everyone. That is an issue with us fanboys/girls atbtimes lol. But like I said in earlier post mybe we will see series of different costumes/this suit getting changes over the series. Like for example in lois and clark cain's suit changed a handful of times to they got the right look. That they settled on.

Good luck with 'Wonder Woman' in hot pants, those of you blind enough to think this will be anything but a steaming turd.

RE: Wonder Woman's Return To TV
The red boots look better & breaks up the monotony of the way the suit really looks (like keeping Superman's trunks vs. the new idea of abandoning them). However, I expect 'epic fail' in this attempt. Maybe it'll be good, maybe not, but we were supposed to have gotten a feature film. Anyone remember that?! Wasn't it supposed to have been from Joss Whedon & isn't he the one now doing THE AVENGERS? It just seems like a major fall for this franchise when you look at it like that.

Re: Wonder Woman's Return To TV
Ya its disapointing film never got anyway. It kept getting stuck in developmental hell and all that. I am still going to give this show a chance. Whos to say the show itself may not turn out to be very good. Suits/costumes can always be changed. Plus with this suit being shot for pilot and if they do get picked up for series. Maybe they can/will make some modifications for the full in show suit.

Lynda Carter Spoke With David E. Kelley About Appearing In The New Wonder Woman Pilot
March 19th, 2011 Craig Byrne
We had already known that 1970s Wonder Woman Lynda Carter had spoken with producer/writer David E. Kelley about the new Wonder Woman TV project, but what hadn’t come out before is that they had talked about doing something for the pilot, which is now filming.
“I talked to David [E. Kelley] about doing something in the pilot but with my new CD, Crazy Little Things coming out in April and touring for the album, we couldn’t coordinate our schedules,” Carter said in an interview at THR, “but you never know what will happen in the future. Stay tuned!”
Guess that means we won’t be seeing Queen Hippolyta in the pilot? *wink, wink*
You can pre-order Lynda Carter’s new album here.

Speaking of inviting scrutiny: Wonder Woman. Why did you decide to take this on?
Well I first said no, for all the obvious reasons. It’s not really what I do; it’s not a genre that’s in my wheelhouse. But then I started thinking about, What if there were such a person in today’s world and what must it be like to be her? And I was imagining the sense of social isolation that she must feel, that she indeed would probably be a rather complicated beast. When I started thinking about all the complications and potential layers to this superhero, I just got more and more intrigued. It was also something I was a little bit afraid of. That’s good, too. Any writer should get out of his or her comfort zone, and this was way outside of mine.
So I took a deep breath and decided to go for it. I did not truthfully commit to doing it until I wrote the script. I was going to try writing it, and if I failed on my own terms, I would say no. If I thought, Yeah, this is something I believe in, then I’d turn it in. And it was something I ultimately did get behind. It was hard, but I had a good time writing it. And Warner Bros. and DC both responded very positively — and off we went.
Then you had to find your Wonder Woman.
It was not an easy search, but it went far quicker than I ever imagined. After writing this script, I remember looking at several people and going, "Yeah, now good luck trying to find her." She’s got to be strong, smart, emotionally accessible — and oh yeah, an Amazon! Good luck. I remember speaking to DC, and saying, "We may have to compromise on the physicality. We need to go with the best actress. And if the best actress is five-foot-five, we have to be open to that, because there’s too many layers for this character to also demand that she be nearly six feet tall." And then lo and behold, in comes this girl named Adrianne Palicki.
I had seen her on Friday Night Lights and I always liked her work, but I didn’t get a sense of her stature. I guess he was sitting down in a lot of the scenes. So she stood up, and we met — eyeball to eyeball — she smiled ... and I knew during the course of the conversation that this was Wonder Woman. I just knew it. I had an instinctive feeling that this was her. So then she read. And she was. And she is.

http://www.superherohype.com/component/poll/178-how-would-you-rate-the-first-photo-of-adrianne-palicki-as-wonder-woman
It seems that 0 (ZERO) out of 10 is what Adrianne Palicki's appearance ranks at SHH with a runaway 18.1%. 10 out of 10 only ranks at 4th with 9.5% & 9 out of 10 ranks all the way down at 11th with 5.1%:
Whether these are real fans or just apologists, the consensus seems to be that her appearance as Wonder Woman sucks! This is not a good sign. I predict that this series will meet the same fate as the short-lived new Bionic Woman. It may not even make it to series. And to think that at one time we thought we were gonna get a 'tentpole film franchise' to go along with Superman & Batman! And now this?!

Re: Wonder Woman's Return To TV
Well it is only on polling thing. I don't think it will be the mark show is fully hated. Personally I am still going to give it a shot. Could end up being a decent show. If it is then that's that. Also I posted this last night but looks like it got messed up and didn't take::
Steve trevor cast now:

I liked him in the short lived knight rider sequel show. So I wish him luck here.

RE: Wonder Woman's Return To TV
Some new photos posted & they show a changed costume:
http://www.superherohype.com/news/articles/161521-wonder-woman-set-pics-a-video-show-changed-costume
http://www.superherohype.com/gallery/wonder-woman/set-photos
For the life of me I can't figure out how to upload these photos! I can upload photos on eBay for items I sale but nothing here seems to work. I thought maybe it was Firefox so I tried Internet Explorer. Nada, zilch! I go through the steps supposedly but it just doesn't take! Same for Youtube videos! It makes me feel kinda bad because all you other guys are posting both! I've even tried saving the photos to 'My Pictures' & then tried to 'Host An Image'; nothing works! What am I doing wrong?!
Anyway, the boots have been changed from blue to red. Maybe the previous image was to gauge fan response? Nevertheless the images are still pretty horrendous, at least for the character of WONDER WOMAN! You may like Adrianne Palicki as a babe, or you may not, but that's not the point. This is supposed to be about Wonder Woman & to me it just doesn't fit. The recent Justice League comments don't support this show's cause either. And in one of the pics, a reader pointed out that there's a 'nip slip' but she's wearing 'pasties'. Oh, & the anti-Smallville comments are over there as well:
Feel free to upload the photos & let me know what I'm doing wrong. But yes, definitely express your thoughts on these photos!

"There's a nice nip-slip in the 4th picture. It's a shame she's wearing those pasties.
On a side note: isn't Wonder Woman supposed to be the most beautiful woman on the planet? Maybe I'm just critical...but this chick has horse teeth and no top lip.
Prediction: this show is gonna suck harder than Smallville."

I found this article linked to the Thor film review:
http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/nbcs-wonder-woman-gets-new-172858
There is a side-by-side comparison pic here but I'm sure I can't upload it.....yet. However, it actually looks better than the earlier 'porn look' as the fanboys called it. Even her hair looks better. What will the final product be though? Your guess is as good as mine!
http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/nbcs-wonder-woman-gets-new-172858
On-set photos from the NBC pilot reveal Adrianne Palicki’s new look.
NBC came under fire when it released the first photo of Adrianne Palicki as Wonder Woman earlier this month.
As THR.com Heat Vision blogger Borys Kit pointed out, fanboys said she looked "too trashy, too bad-porn-y," Fox said her look wasn't patriotic enough and even Lynda Carter, who played her in the '70s TV series, weighed in. PHOTOS: The next generation of superheroes.
Palicki's blue vinyl pants and blue boots were said to resemble footed pajamas, according to online commenters, and her patent-vinyl outfit "looks cheap" and "probably squeaks every time she moves" wrote blogs.
Now, photos have been surfacing from the set of of David E. Kelly's pilot showing Palicki in what appear to be cotton or spandex pants instead of vinyl and bright red contrasting boots. PHOTOS: A makeup line inspired by Wonder Woman.
A DC Comics spokesperson spoke out in support of the look earlier this month: "The latest evolution of Wonder Woman’s iconic costume is a central part of the latest comic book storyline. All of the classic symbols – patriotic (stars, eagle) and heroic (lasso, bracelets) – are ever-present."
