Extended Man of Steel Teaser Brings Superman To Comic-Con

We’ve just been treated to a Con-exclusive teaser for Man of Steel.

Surprisingly, the look of Zack Snyder‘s footage leans on the handheld, intimate look of something like a Bourne movie. Shots tended to focus on details, the camera operator tended to walk behind characters, or hold the shot loose. Snyder has tended towards a very different look before, so I wasn’t expecting this at all.

One wonders what the Apologists are going to think of this.

Hell, I'm wondering what I think of this.

Hm. I learned long ago never to trust someone else's impression of what they see in movie trailers. Call me crazy but I suspect this guy is misinterpreting something.

Not bad, not bad. If this teaser is going to be shortened for TDKRises (yeah, cuz that makes a lot of fucking sense) I'd wager this stuff will be among the shots deleted.

The footage does all sound good. I hope some of the con footage leaks. But can't wait to see teaser in a few days. And glad the whole glasses mysterry been solved now. And colors ok on merging I thought having separate thread for just poster to talk on that like batman but that is up to you and ap on the call.

I've read from 3 different sources just before that the look and feel of the characters reminded them of Alex Ross.

Oh, and sounds like Singer got a lesson in filmmaking. Based on those descriptions, I already love the movie. Colour me hyped. I can only hope that this footage will find it's way online in decent quality, bootlegged or not!

Hmm must be something up with your pc/laptop/mobile device what ever youu are on. The superman in 2013 twitter page is working fine for me.

I sent the 'add friend' request but waiting to hear back from it. Not real crazy about adding people I don't know but certain things want you to add them as a friend, particularly certain sweepstakes. Whatever. If I can get a glimpse at this footage it's worth it I guess.

Just watched them on yt looks great. And one thing I love even in crap quality is the colors palatte for the film and how well the blue/red in suit pops off the screen.

Part 2 is gone.

But from what you could see, the flying is going to absolutely DESTROY "Puppet BJ".

If they don't want to ruin the momentum this has garnered for their film, this will go online the Monday after 'Rises' opens.

The Facebook guy accepted my request & I watched it there but the Youtube vids had the batter quality which ain't saying much though. I know, I know, it's bootlegged, I get that, but what's up with the multiple screens showing the same footage?! That reminded me of Ang Lee's Hulk with the split screen deal. However, I know MOS ain't really like that but why did they do this at the Con? Also, I got OK glimpses of Cavill, Adams & Shannon but I feel like I didn't get a clear shot of Superman! But I know what we'll see at TDKR will be much better quality. However, one online comment I read from one of the links posted here stated that the teaser trailer would not be the same footage shown at the Con?!

What I can get from this it has a very SMALLVILLE feel to it without actually being Smallville. That music playing was also very powerful! I assume that was composed by Hans Zimmer? But I thought he was still working on that?! And my guess would be that the music is also not the official MOS theme but it sounded very heroic nonetheless! Now if I can just see HD quality of this stuff enlarged I'll be ecstatic!

As for AP's comment about Latino Review, well, I guess they found a new lover. No more BJ the rejected bride!
