Just who is the Jackal?! How is that a Superman villain?! And I read that article; I only saw 'Jackal' in the title itself. I guess the rumor mill is in full spin then!

I don't think the headline meant to say he is playing a character name jackal if he lands superman. But that he is a jackal/maybe played some roll that was called jackal.

I just started watching 'Boardwalk Empire', and Michael Shannon would be decent as either Lex or Zod. He just needs to "beef up" if he is going to be the latter.

I haven't seen that show myself but I hear he is a solid actor. So I wouldn't be against him if he landed any role in the film. Would be curious to see him bald if he where to be lex.
