They're not going for the SMALLVILLE look by any chance are they?! As in Clark with no glasses, for the most part anyway, the flannel, etc. If so, where's Cavill's red shirt and/or jacket?

No glasses. Makes me wonder if in this paradigm Superman used super hypnosis to make himself appear different to everyone when he is Clark or perhaps the theory that the power of the shield keeps people from viewing the noticeable resemblance…

Or maybe he does wear glasses but this scene took place maybe when he first moved to metropolis and before he has gone public as superman. I just cant see them not doing glasses. How the heck would they go about the two identities then.

True but come on i can see dropping trunks is one thing but what the heck would you do for making two different identities before kent and superman then. Really glasses, attitude change, and way he presents himself is all we really need for kent identity to work i think.

Do we even know for sure that those pics are from a scene? Maybe Cavill's just riding the bike from his trailer to the set or something.

Well only thing i know is one of those shots of cavill on bike was for a scene and they did 7 takes of it. according to the mos fb page. I still say it could be before he is superman type of deal.

ya i am not fretting this one little scene when we dont know context of the scene. i would be if we get more photos of cavill as kent while in a scene with amy and still no glasses.

This is going to be one of Clark's jobs Pre-Superman, Pre-Daily Planet. So no glasses yet is no big deal to me.

Ya i know i always wonder how would superman shave when his hair is industrictible like his skin. Though i seen in some cases he can burn it with heat vision, to using certain metals like from his ship to shave beard/cut hair.

Cbm fan my guess its before he goes to metropolis. He probably leaves smallville after torando/death of pa kent scene. To deal with the lost and leads him to traveling the world. To see what he wants to do with his life and the amazing powers he does have. To also maybe leading into formation of fos and him learning of his kryptonian origins.

Didn't Bruce Wayne have a beard too in Batman Begins? Directed by Nolan. Superman reboot? Produced by Nolan. Coincidence? You tell me.

Ha ya i can see the point but there is stories and what not of clark/superman with a beard. So it isnt just out of the blue type of thing here.
