10.20, Prophecy (spoilers)

The Younis page spoke to Laura Vandervoort, who said she has completed her stuff for 10.20, Prophecy.

Can't wait to see kara final return and the story for the episode.

I recognize two of the villains in that table (well three if you count Granny) but I can't make the others!

Solomon Grundy, Dark Archer, Roulette, Black Manta, Captain Cold, and Metallo

It's hard for me to make out who's who but I think the 'cold guy' & the 'archer guy' are probably the most obvious but I had to really look to find Grundy. I assume he's the one facing the camera at the head of the table? If so, I guess we're getting 'Grundy-Lite'! Well, whatever, I guess since I was the one wanting to see Grundy in the reboot, at least I'll get to see him on Smallville, but I expect more 'TV Hulk' than the real Grundy.

Y'know, it's funny, there are so few spoilers out there for a lot of this stuff that it seems believable. My only reluctance is that you'd think at least an announcement would've come down the line had, I dunno, Solomon Grundy been cast. You could keep returning characters coming back under wraps but new characters would probably be harder. But those characters certainly look like Manta and Grundy...

If this leads to one last Justice League of America reunion, I'd certainly be cool with all of it.

Ya I was totally holy shit legion of doom/secret society group. Just one more thing I never exepected to see. Man its pretty cool with these last few episodes with things we didn't know about surprising us. As for members only one I am iffy in who it is is the man between archer and roulette. Like some say they think its metallo, and I heard other names too like max lord also. But I would figure metallo seems more likely villain to be. So we got toyman/metallo as superman villains, archer for green arrow, captain cold for impluse, manta for aquaman, and leaves grundy and roulette as more jl team villains. Can't wait to see this scene play out.

Actually, I think that's Grundy on the bottom left. He's wearing a suit and his hands are white.

Metallo may be the guy standing.

Solomon Grundy is sitting to the left of Dark Archer. Looks like he's standing because he's so damn tall. Think Frankenstein's Monster. Others for sure are Black Manta, Captain Cold, and Roulette, (although, I'm holding out hope for Giganta). Speculation is the man to the right of Dark Archer is Metallo. Lighting is kind of bad in some of the still photos I've seen, but I'm holding out hope for Two Face. Very highly unlikely on that one though.

with that empty chair at the table, is anyone thinking we're going to get Lex sooner than we thought? Smallville definitely has a way of surprising us.

Since it looks like toyman may be the man in charge the chair could be for him after he escapes from jail. Or the chair is for granny who may be the one who brought these villains together. But ya the lex option would be sweet.

Sorry to go off topic, but since you brought it up, man those Navy seals are badass. Best thing about that asshole getting killed last night is not only did he hear the gunfire, but probably also the balls of those Seals clanging together

Has anyone noticed the irony here? On Smallville, we get virtually every known villain & their cousin from the Superman DC mythos & then some. In the Superman films, we get Lex Luthor and..........General Zod. Period! Not even a frickin' Brainiac in the films! But on SV he's 'melting' all over the screen! Speaking of which, did any of you notice n the episode the other night, after Ollie left the church how the angel statue cried the 'black goo' ala Brainiac?!

Duh apologists like to criticize how it's 'not right' for all of these villains to be facing Clark before he's Superman but if you really think about it, it's fun! Fart on them! But yeah, think of the irony though between SV & the films. The difference in the gap there is like 'night & day'! And don't even get me started on Nolan!

Non_Amos, you really got me thinking about this now. Darkseid has been mostly a mist or smoke, why all of a sudden the change to "goo". What if the empty chair at the table is for Brainiac. They are bringing Metallo, Dark Archer and Roulette back without explanation after their stories were fairly wrapped up. Why not Brainiac. But then I'm a conspiracy theorist, so I'm probably thinking too much into it.
