"Justice League: War"

Watched this last night. Besides Superman's shitty Nu52 costume, it was actually pretty good.

It's pretty much action from beginning to end, with the only real "character" moments belonging to Cyborg and Billy Batson. Green Lantern was a smartass. Batman was Batman. Superman was cocky and even dropped an "I don't give a shit" at the end. Flash was just kind of...there. I liked their take on Wonder Woman. A naive bad-ass being the best way to describe her. Captain Marvel was cool. I know some people bitched that he was replacing Aquaman, but they should stick around after the credits.

Parademons are planting objects when they get caught by GL. Green Lantern & Batman get into it with Superman. Darkseid launches an attack. Heroes band together to save people. Superman abducted. Batman saves. Whole team takes on Darkseid, and I have to say they did a good job of making him a real threat. If they ARE making a JLA film. with the exception of his look, THAT is how they should do Darkseid.

Some of the voice actor choices were kind of "off", Cyborg's design was kind of funky, Darkseid's face and head weren't right, and Superman looked like a fat necked weirdo sometimes. But those would be my only real complaints.

I'd give it 4 out of 5.

Glad you enjoyed it but I lost my taste for anything New 52-oriented quite a long time ago. I doubt I'll bother with this.
