Man those are bad lol. Crazy look. But we knew how odd look was from those recently released costume images months ago. Though still if the film had happened it would have been a curious film for one.

Burton has been critical of toy designer interference in the film design process and shit like this surely has to be why.
It's also fucked up just how many different designs and concepts went into this movie. Just when you think you've seen 'em all, we get new shit like this coming down the pipeline...

I don't think so. Slow to react, perhaps, but in the end they pulled the plug on what I think 99% of people agree would've been an atrocity. The movie didn't get made. The smart move (economically speaking) would've been to shoot the movie and earn back at least some of their investment (which, toward the end, was somewhere near or beyond $40 million). To me, Burton's non-existent Superman movie is a strong argument that WB is capable of making the right decision.Apologist Puncher wrote:Show's just how fucking STUPID the Bros. Warner really are.

Ah, if that were true.....
The Bros. Warner kept pumping money into this "film" even after Burton and Cage walked. There were at least THREE different drafts of the script. If they TRULY knew it was the clusterfuck it OBVIOUSLY was going to be, they wouldn't have kept paying people to re-write the script.
It wasn't until they started taking new script ideas that they finally buried this turd where it belonged.

Ya know what? Even if Henry Cavill's Superman does not wear the trunks, even added in post, his Superman will without a doubt still look more like Superman than that those images you posted of Blandon BJ. And hopefully the action figures won't look emo either.

Undoubtedly.

You'll be able to compare them, eventually.
I'm sure Toys-R-Us is sitting on THOUSANDS of those turd-nuggets.

You know after witnessing all this it just made me beg the question... If the "Superman Lives" project actually made it as a film would it be worst than "Superman Returns"? I know SR was disappointing but aleast they try to take a page book from the Donner films (Not very well executed apparently) but could it be possible that SL would have fair worst while SR coming in second?

No. It wouldn't have been.

Again, NO. Anyone with a brain would know why.
'Superman Lives' would have been it's own animal. It would have been a cluster-fuck of epic proportions, but it did it's OWN THING. It wouldn't have tried to piggyback on a superior film from 30 years ago. It wouldn't have bastardized the memory and performance of a man born to play the part, by using a talentless piece of shit the director had a "crush" on and telling us it's the same guy.
On THAT ALONE, Singerman will forever and always be worse than ANY of the aborted projects, prior and post.

Re: Hasbro's 'Superman Lives' Toy Concept Art/Movie Art
Cbmf I been wonderihg that myself for yrs.. sure sl probably would have been a terrible film. But like ap said its own thing. Though if it happened I do wonder if all the rights issue and problems with copyright would still been a factor.
