Even though it was released on October 25, Joe Johnston-directed comic book adaptation Captain America: The First Avenger took the #1 spot on DVD/Blu-Ray chart, previously held by Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides...
Joe Johnston and Marvel's comic book adaptation Captain America: The First Avenger was released on DVD and Blu-Ray on October 25, and according to Phillyburbs.com, after only two days, film managed to take the #1 spot on DVD/Blu-Ray chart, previously held by Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, fourth installment in the popular franchise. Captain America: The First Avenger was also first on the rental chart.
