Exclusive: There is another big time villain in 'Marvel's The Avengers'

As we speak THE AVENGERS is currently in production.
What do we know so far?
Back in March we exclusively reported that the main villain for "The Avengers" is none other than Thor's adoptive brother and archenemy LOKI and that he will need some serious muscle to go up against "The Avengers" and he does this by using the cosmic cube. Loki uses the cube to get a hold of the Aliens (aka The Skrulls) to invade Earth and fight "The Avengers." Skrulls are green-skinned reptilian humanoids with large pointed ears, red or green eyes, and corrugated chins.
But that’s not at all!
In the famous last of words of Master Yoda…”There is another…”
Yes.
There is another big time villain in THE AVENGERS!
*SPOILER WARNING* IF YOU DON’T WANT TO KNOW DON’T READ BELOW!
- Spoiler:
Now that we got that out of the way…
According to very trusted always on point sources, Latinoreview has exclusively learned that the other villain in THE AVENGERS is…
…THANOS!
Now I’m not going to spoil how he is in the movie, but trust me when we tell you that he is in there.
If you think about it, it is also kind of obvious.
The Infinity Gauntlet was on display at last year’s San Diego Comic Con and just made an appearance in Odin’s Vault in THOR.
According to Wikipedia, Thanos first appeared in Iron Man #55 (Feb. 1973) and was created by writer-artist Jim Starlin.
Debuting in the Bronze Age of comic books, the character has featured in over three decades of Marvel continuity and a self-titled series. The character's name is a derivation of Thanatos, the personification of death and mortality in Greek mythology. One of his more prominent storylines to date—the Infinity Gauntlet series—portrayed him as a mad cosmic tyrant bent on slaying half of all sentiences existing then in Marvel's multiverse in order to appease the Marvel Universe’s actual (and more powerful) embodied personification of Death in an attempt to win its love.
So there ya have it!
Thanos the Mad Titan will next be seen in The Avengers on May 4, 2012!

Re: Another villain in avengers????
Isn't Thanos 'sort of' like the Marvel equivalent of DARKSEID? I mean, that's what he reminds me of in appearance. Although I may be somewhat familiar with some Marvel properties, I don't claim much knowledge of Thanos. I thought he was 'dead' in that early famous graphic novel, THE DEATH OF CAPTAIN MARVEL, which may've even been the first graphic novel? But since 'dead' doesn't always mean 'dead' in comics, maybe he's still around, I haven't checked. If this spoiler is true, hopefully they'll put it off as awesomely as THOR. I wasn't too thrilled with the recent incarnation of 'Dark-Crow-Seid'.

Ya should be cool. I bet its probably just a cameo to lead him into being big baddie for sequel. But curious to see how he is done.
