I tuned out of this a long time ago. So another reason to not see it is just a snowflake in a blizzard at this point. That having been said though...

I wasn't kidding! I meant it. I have no interest in seeing this movie. I've heard from people who have seen it that it isn't so terrible. I'll take their word for it.

I've seen this. It's amazingly awful. I get what Trank was going for, and in moments the Cronenberg vibe is effective, but so much of this is a miscalculation and the reshot ending is so tacked on and the movie suddenly turns into a completely different kind of movie that I kind of laughed.

The hate directed at BVS is overdone and exaggerated, but it was very well justified here. Four of these live action films in a span of 20 years and none of them are any good. The problem isn't just Fox, it's also the production company Constintin Films, which has been behind all four of these film all along. They're the ones that actually hold the rights to the property. Many fanboys deny this and think it's only Fox that needs to be dealt with, but that's all misdirection.
