Re: DC Film Release Schedule
People bitching and complaining about the lack of "strong, no-nonsense" female superheroes headlining their own films are cordially invited for a free round of Shut The Fuck Up now.
Something else, four of those films are team-ups of some kind or another. How awesome is that? If you'd told the 12 year old me that someday I'd get to watch a live action Suicide Squad film, I'd have laughed in your face. But here we are.
Green Lantern, eh? I expect it'll be Simon Baz (the latest in the comic industry's pathetic attempt at PC pandering) but it'd be awesome if it was Guy Gardner.
As might be expected, The Whiner Chorus has been baying over the fact that so few of these entries are "truly ICONIC". Think about that for a second. This is the self-same group of grab-asses who bemoaned Superman and Batman virtually dominating WB's superhero output lo these many years... but now apparently Aquaman and Cyborg films are no bueno.
There are times when I have pride in being a geek; today isn't one of them.

Re: DC Film Release Schedule
They also stated there will be standalone Batman AND Superman films. They're just not listed.
I have a feeling they will be the same years as some of the other films listed. Kind of like how Marvel has 2 films a year come out.
