BJ Routh Thinks He's A "Tough Guy"
I think some of us got to him, and he hasn't let it go:

Now hang on a sec.... First, this talentless moron says that no one has "had the balls" to say Singerman sucked to his face, then says the fact that people hated that piece of shit "doesn't weigh on me, and never really did"?? Way to contradict yourself, shithead.
As to his little challenge, does he expect people to pay to get into a comic book convention, wait in line, pay to get in front of him, then blast his sorry ass for that travesty? Who wins in THAT scenario?? Since bilking people at cons is his main source of income now, how else would someone get the chance?
I still hope one day I come across him on the street, or out in public. I'LL tell him that Singerman sucked to his face, and see if he still feels like a tough guy then.

Superman Returns inevitably came up, and though he said no one has "had the balls" to insult the movie or his performance to his face, he does seem to meet a lot of people who are ashamed to be fans of the Bryan Singer helmed movie. "It doesn't weigh on me and never really did," Rough said when asked to reflect on his role in the divisive movie. "I took the job knowing full well that was going to be something that was going to be part of my life probably forever. Thankfully, it's in a good way. I'm proud of the movie and a lot of people enjoyed it so that helps, I guess. And having it be such an inspirational, iconic role, that's a nice thing to carry with me and have it be part of who people see me as."

Re: BJ Routh Thinks He's A "Tough Guy"
Well well, don't I feel like an idiot? I went to Wizard World Dallas back in 2013 mere weeks before MOS opened. Blandon was there and my friend's semi-Apologist roommate was basically creaming his shorts about the prospect of meeting good ol' BJ. I resolved to be on my best behavior. I mean, if I'd somehow been given the opportunity to shoot the bull with Reeves, Reeve, Welling or Cavill, I'd be PISSED if someone rained on my parade. So I promised myself I wouldn't ruin this for my friend's roommate.
Instead, I just furiously snapped pictures of them shaking hands, Routh signing his Singerman poster (and Routh head shot!) and chatting for a few minutes. It was about as boring as you'd expect. And no, I didn't "meet" Routh. He and I shook hands (because he initiated it), exchanged "good mornings" and that was it. That doesn't qualify as "meeting" someone. If you disagree, fine, but that doesn't count if you ask me.
As I say, MOS was just a few weeks away at that point and this whole thing really meant a lot to the roommate guy so I decided to just drop it. Now all of a sudden I don't "have the balls" to say anything to him about what a horrifying crock of bullshit Singerman was ALWAYS going to be even before he was cast? I play the nice guy, I take the high road, I don't cause a scene over nothing, I promise to not ruin someone else's good time because I wouldn't want it ruined for me in different circumstances... and I don't "have the balls" to say anything to the guy?
Fuck you, dude. The misproportioned freak doesn't think I "have the balls" to say anything to him? Challenge accepted, asshole.

Re: BJ Routh Thinks He's A "Tough Guy"
I just love that he starts off with an insult and a "manhood challenge" to his detractors regarding Singerman Peeps, but then turns around and says nothing negative regarding that movie has "weighed on me, and never really did". I mean, how fucking STUPID do you have to be to say the first part, then follow it up with the second??
It would be like saying: "No ISIS terrorist has had the balls to cut MY head off. But ISIS terrorists don't weigh on my mind, and never really have".
Huh??

I know this SHOULD be in the 'ARROW' section, but fuck it:
Looks like BJ Routh is 13 years too late for to take part in ANOTHER flop:

Re: BJ Routh Thinks He's A "Tough Guy"
The Iron Man-pillaging continues, I see. Bad enough he steals Downey's take on Stark now the costume designers are swiping "inspiration" for the Iron Man suits.
Incidentally, since Arrow seems pretty well liked these days, I don't see too many people defending BJ for being "forced" to impersonate Downey against his will... but I guess that excuse always exists if the tides should ever turn against him.
Not because of the costume design (because obviously Routh had nothing to do with that) but we always knew BJ was a talentless hack. But this is the first time I've come to realize that his signature move is stealing performances from more talented actors. Reeve in Singerman and now Downey in Arrow. Shit, if I had the stomach for it, I could probably catalog other ripoffs from his resumé.
