Casting Lex Luthor

Since he is more than likely going to have SOME kind of role in the Reboot, who would you pick?

For me, it's pretty easy:



Bryan Cranston is a chameleon, and one helluva'n actor too. He would do the role justice.

Who would you guys pick?

I gravitate towards the idea the Pre-Crisis concept of Lex and Superman being more or less peers of one another. On that basis, Lex's age ought to approximate Clark's (give or take a couple years). They ought to be around the same age.

I do hope they have lex in reboot least a supporting role. Personally I want to see ruthless corp lex done for films. Maybe throw in political aspriations and him get a position of power. And see his raise and fall from that. Then if possible in series then after his fall go craze scientist route for him. Ap your pick is good. As to who I want that factors in age and direction they are going to take. Got to think of some names I will get back to you later on some.

Well, Bruce Willis doesn't seem to "care" about his acting anymore, so I would pass on him.

Billy Zane would be perfectly fine with me though.

Damon would be an interesting pick. Though I wonder if he would do a cbm thoughl he would be a solid choice in my book. Zane would also be a suitable pick. With lex there is many actors counting on what you want to do with him that would be a good pick. I still need to think more myself for some names I wouldn't mind in testing.

They won't pick a virtual "unknown" for Lex Luthor IF he is in the new movie.

I saw that story a few days ago. I don't know much on his work. I think I might have seen him in something before. But I agree with ap if and I do hope lex is in film in some way that it is likely to go to a better known actor counting on other factors. Like what villain is also in the film and if they go better know for like lois too.

You know, after watching The A-Team, which was a lot better than it looked when it was in it's theater run, I think Patrick Wilson wouldn't be a bad choice for Lex Luthor at all.

He's worked with Snyder before, can do cocky, charming, greedy and even "evil". Plus, he wouldn't be too much older than whoever they choose to play Supes.

He's got my vote.

I thought the film was good too. Wouldn't mind him as lex.
