Where is the official website?
Since we're now in Feburary which I can assume that filming will be wrapping up pretty soon I just want to know when is the official website be up especially after I heard that WB & DC have won the rights to the domain name Manofsteel.com which is supposively the official website for the film?
Anyone care to shed some light on this?

Re: Where is the official website?
Interestingly wasn't it last February when we first learned of Henry Cavill being cast as Superman? I believe it was. So also of interest is just how fast that year has passed! I remember coming home one Sunday from lunch about this time last year & being literally shocked when I got back online. I initially thought it was a joke. No offense to Cavill but I did. I mean, I knew his name had gone round the circles & all but I also thought he had pretty much been dismissed.
I just hope this next year-plus passes just as quickly. I'm sure some kind of trailer will be connected to TDKR but it'll probably be a teaser. It'll still beat that Singerman teaser trailer though. Hopefully as we progress this summer with all of the superhero flicks the time will just whittle on down. But like the treatment Nolan gives the Batman series, what with the 6-minute prologues & all at IMAX, how about giving Supes the same recognition?

Re: Where is the official website?
I know non, I too didn't hear the cavill news to a day after it came out due to being out of town for work. And didn't get to check news on my cell. But since the filmm isn't out to next june. We still have well over a yr for promotional wing. For mos to start up. So like I said earlier we likely will see official site go up in a few months. Then it getting updated with pics/bio/etc.... stuff. Then tv/trailers/press stuff later this yr/into next yr.

No kidding! There's always BS rumor floating around when it comes to movies like this one. Cavill had been a favorite (by some) to play the part for years so it had to get confirmed a couple of times before I really bought into it. Then as now, I still see Nolan's fingerprints all over this particular casting decision.non_amos wrote:Interestingly wasn't it last February when we first learned of Henry Cavill being cast as Superman? As good as Singerman ever got (which really isn't saying too much), that first teaser is probably it. The Williams music pretty much carries the whole thing (although even his score can't save that closing shot of Singerman swooping off past the camera). To say it was all downhill from there seems like an understatement somehow. But it's all I've got.non_amos wrote:I just hope this next year-plus passes just as quickly. Superman takes to the skies once more as acclaimed actor Henry Cavill (The Tudors, Immortals) dons the suit, cape and S-shield of the MAN OF STEEL. With an all-star cast that includes Diane Lane and Kevin Costner as John and Martha Kent, Clark’s earthbound parents; Oscar® winner Russell Crowe as Superman's Kryptonian father Jor-El; The Fighter's Amy Adams as intrepid Daily Planet reporter Lois Lane; The Matrix's Laurence Fishburne as editor Perry White; and Boardwalk Empire's Michael Shannon as Superman’s otherworldly archenemy General Zod, populations from Smallville to Metropolis are psyched for Superman. With the directorial stylings of 300's Zack Snyder and the superheroic production team behind Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy, the sky's the limit for the last son of Krypton!
