Ditto and ditto. Loved it. It's a reminder of how much juice and potential a partial reboot (a "new Superman III") could've had... and *sigh* would have had in a more talented filmmaker's hands. But I'll spare you that particular rant once again.

Anyway. Really dug the salute the CG Reeve gave on his way out of the FOS. True, the shot itself isn't quite up to snuff animation-wise but (and I'm talking big picture stuff here) it's really telling that Reeve's likeness, Barry's minimalist production design and Williams's music can convey so much.

All in all, GREAT video.

And not one word spoken the entire 5+ minutes! I seem to recall another 'wordless' video recently that ran over 6 minutes featuring BJ's 'Return To Krapton' & this one put that one to shame!

Ya know, this did however remind me of something. It reminded me of just how much I enjoyed the John Williams' theme music. The problem though is I don't realistically see how Zack Snyder can use it now. Why not, duh apologists will no doubt ask? Well, think about it. It does invoke images of Christopher Reeve, even just listening to it. It invokes images of SUPERMAN: the MOVIE. Actually when I hear that music I even visualize Reeve's inter-action with Margot Kidder & that entire era! And as we know that's just the point, that was another era! Frankly Snyder no doubt needs to break away from that for this franchise to stand a chance! I know there's the nostalgia & all of that & duh apologists whining like, "They don't change the James Bond theme e-vah" crapola but let's face it, the Superman film franchise needs to be made relevant again. IF Snyder can pull this off, then maybe the kids will once again take interest in Superman & think he's 'kewl' again!

A very cool video. I think I saw a cut verison of this before. But this longer one looks great.
