Is Sony Entertainment Group in trouble?

I first came across this story over at cbm(we make shit up). So I decided to read about the website the story originally came from:

Would be suck to see sony gone. But I wonder if there is any truth in the site's claims? On plus side for spiderman/ghost rider if sony where to go under marvel/disney could get them back. But on other hand, I don't really believe the story. Cause if sony where to go under I am sure we would have heard something from one of the big trade/entertainment sites like thr, variety, deadline, etc.....

If you read it, it basically said they would probably sell Columbia Pictures. Not that Sony would cease to exist.

There was trouble for sure but dont know the current status.
