June 8, 2011: New-Look Superboy and Teen Titans

With the relaunch of the DC Universe set to take place in September, DC Comics today released details on the new-look Teen Titans and other young superteams.

Tim Drake is forced to step out from behind his keyboard when an international organization seeks to capture or kill super-powered teenagers. As Red Robin, he must team up with the mysterious and belligerent powerhouse thief known as Wonder Girl and a hyperactive speedster calling himself Kid Flash in TEEN TITANS #1, by Scott Lobdell and artists Brett Booth and Norm Rapmund.
io9.com interviewed DC co-publishers Dan DilDo and Jim Lee to the inside word on this new-look team...

Kid Flash, Superboy, and Wonder Girl are part of the Titans roster, but they don't look exactly look like themselves.

DD: All of these characters have history with the DC Universe that existed before the team is built, but it might be just slightly different. But I think in capturing the voice and the spirit of these characters, I think they're exactly who people think they are.

JL: There are going to be a lot of surprises.

Interesting grouping for the titans, robin looks good, kid flash looks pretty neat. But who is the lady on all fours? As for superboy looks like he gone biker lol without the bike. Also is that a s shield tat on him. Strange superboy and cover for supergirl I seen they keeping the known s but superman himself has different one.

Actually, compare the two in that picture.

The lame tattoo one looks like the Singerman "S", and the one on his back is the REAL symbol.

My mistake ap I was viewing on my cell and didn't get a super close p on it. But I was just pointing out shouldn't superboy and supergirl gone with that new logo too. If they are keeping the older look seems odd for superman not to. But its probably all on the dam copyright crap.
