"All-Star Superman" Preview

Sweet scene there.

If memory serves, after describing Superman's condition, Quintum says "there can be only one outcome, Superman. Even for you." It's nit-picky as hell but that's the line that brought home the reality of the scene in the comic for me and I miss it here.

Still, the REAL point of that scene comes across just the same. Superman's just been told that he's dying. He doesn't scream, cry, thrash around, shout "I'm still Superman" or any of that bullshit. He accepts his fate and then asks Quintum to keep it all under his hat until he figures this out.

I'll never be accused of being Grant Morrison's biggest fan but that scene, right there, shows he KNOWS who Superman is.
