the cape series discussion

Tonight the new nbc hero series premires. Is any one checking it out.

Well premire just ended here on the est. I enjoyed it alot. It seems like a solid costumed hero show. which is something cool. We haven't had costumed heroes show in awhile. I hope it does well in ratings. Also its normal scheduled day/time will be mondays at 9pm starting next week. The cape character himself is very much lke batman. Which I think works for the show. Acting I thought all the leads did pretty well. They were good casting of actors and seem to be developing well. The carnie dudes are a fun bunch. Summer glau character seems to be a solid character. Sfx were also pretty good for tv budget show. Also chess the lead bad guy and cape costumes look pretty cool. I love how his cape works. All an all a very nice start to series. Hope it lasts for awhile.

No costumed superhero's on TV in a while? Why do we need that when there are REAL LIFE SUPERHERO'S WALKING AROUND SEATTLE, WA??

Saw the story about that dude. Pretty cool there. And I was saying besides sv there really isn't any costumed hero live action shows going on and its been awhile since there has been. Did u check out the show ap?

I did watch most of this. It's not "bad", but HIGHLY unoriginal. Nothing about it made me want to watch it again.

You ever watch the bonus stuff from that mega Watchmen boxed set? They had a segment about real life costumed, ahem, "superheroes". They really are out there. The media hasn't focused much on them for some reason (don't know why, it's such a natural for any "bizarre headlines" web page) but they do exist.

Ok ap just wanted to see what your thoughts was. Colors want there reports before of another costume folks somewhere else I do sorta remember hearing something a yr or two back in another city.

Too much relying on Batman Begins and The Dark Knight for my taste.
