Will "Guardians of the Galaxy" inspire WB to reboot "Green Lantern"?
Okay, since it's obvious & confirmed that "Man of Steel" will be the start of the DC Cinematic Universe which means the "Green Lantern" film we were treated with back in 2011 won't be part of it. Still my opinion still stands that GL isn't as bad as some folks make it out to be but due to that and it's performance at the box office there's no doubt that Warner Bros. maybe considering rebooting the franchise. Personally even as a non-fan I think the franchise deserve another chance but if somehow the studio won't consider rebooting it then maybe after watching "Guardians of the Galaxy" they may actually change their minds and give GL another shoot once they see how GOTG performs critically & financially since both franchises are both comic-based-space operas. If "The Incredible Hulk" film was able to inspire WB to make MOS and "The Avengers" film inspire WB to get the "Justice League" film on the go then what are the chances of this not happening?

No. No need. Green Lantern will be in 'Justice League of America', and depending on reception, MIGHT get another shot.
'Guardians' won't have anything to do with it.

If WB takes anything away from GOTG, I hope it's that they can dust off less well-known, less iconic properties and have them make money.Comicbookfan-V2 wrote:Okay, since it's obvious & confirmed that "Man of Steel" will be the start of the DC Cinematic Universe which means the "Green Lantern" film we were treated with back in 2011 won't be part of it.
