Michael Clarke Duncan as Darkseid??!

Just to give you guys a heads up I just discover another cast mention on the casting list over at IMDB.com and yes, I know this is probably just another false info being posted pretty much like the mention of actress Keke Palmer being cast as Natasha Irons but as a reminder I'm just only letting everyone here know about it! This time it involves Michael Clarke Duncan being cast as Darkseid and as an added bonus this is also decleared as a rumor just like how Michael Cerveris being cast as Lex Luthor is consider a rumor! I don't know what to make of this but if you ask me it's way too early to use Darkseid for a first installment but who knows how he might be played out if ever shows up in the film?

What do you guys think?

Duncan certainly has the size to play Darkseid, although I'm sure that Darkseid in the comics is so large that CGI/motion capture would probably be the way to go with it, like Mark Ruffalo as the Hulk. But if they don't wanna go the CGI route, a large man like that who can also act would possibly get the job done. At least the creative team would be making an effort to try & get someone who fit the bill, unlike Tom Hardy as THE HULKING 190-LB. BANE! At least a move like that would make sense but like you say, it's probably just a rumor.

He would be a proper actor to just be voice or even to play body of darkseid. But it is not likely true. First its from imdb and imdb with films in production or pre production are always incorrect. since like wikipedia its a user edited website. Plus secondly i doubt they would pull darkseid this early. He is more proper for a 3rd film/series closer villain. If anything i would expect more of a nod/refrence to darkseid/his world maybe while we have krypton scenes.

Put me in with the skeptics too.

Someone at another site somewhere admitted they put this up just for the hell of it after someone put that false "Natasha Irons" crap on there.

It's fake.

That same someone also admitted they posted two castings, this one and another involving Jackie Earle Haley as Desaad yet I only see one of those listed for some reason! Either way, I had assume they are fake considering that using someone as big as Darkseid for a first installment is overly premature!
