Harry Knowles` Downfall

Has anyone seen what's going down at AICN, or Ain't It Old News? Man, it is EPIC.

Knowles decided to start a "KickStarter" campaign to fund some barely-viewed "show" he has for a second season. And how much is he asking for what is basically a YouTube show? $100,000 fucking dollars! Seriously. But it is the REACTION in his "Talk Back" section that is internet GOLD. Oh, and it's been 15 days and he has only managed to raise $35,500 or something. Most from about 6 donations.

But read the comments in his original KS post, and you will be exposed to all the facts, Vitriol, hate and contempt people have for this guy. Apparently Knowles fancies himself "King of the Geeks" or some shit. And the reactions prove this guy's "throne" is as fake as his integrity.

The saddest part of all is that he probably thinks this is going to work. And fuck me, it might but he's about halfway through the campaign but he's nowhere near the halfway mark so unless his funding levels go through the roof in the next two weeks, he's in for some bitter embarrassment.
