Imaginative titles. I remember when Raimi's second Spider-Man film was actually going to be titled "THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN" but then some genius decided to change it to "SPIDER-MAN 2".

Wish THOR 2 would be titled THE MIGHTY THOR instead, or something.

FREAKING THANK YOU!!! I remember that too and loved the idea. But you mention it to people nowadays and either they look at you like a monkey doing a math problem or else they think you're confused about the reboot.

And yes, that would've been a badass title for Spider-Man 2.

Def would be fun for characters with multi nicknames, or comic titles for sequels to be named after them. Like for avengers they could do the mighty avengers, avengers earth mightiest heroes(as stark said to loki),etc....

Yup, I'd like future Marvel films beyond Spider-Man to embrace those kind of big titles. WB already went forward with that with THE DARK KNIGHT and MAN OF STEEL. I imagine if a reboot of X-MEN happened it would be titled THE UNCANNY X-MEN.

I used to think Nolan's 3rd Batman film should/would be called THE CAPED CRUSADER. I mean, it's logical enough, right? But then they finally announced that lackluster title THE DARK KNIGHT RISES & I'm like, oh boy, here we go again! But don't expect Nolan to adhere to anything that respects the canon because it's irrelevant. Rolling Eyes
