I never entirely understood the mystique of this character so I'm crying no tears.

You know what a good book was? Star Wars Tales. It was an anthology series that usually had some one and done stories, sometimes by lesser known comics talents. Some of them were legit Star Wars stories, some were more akin to parodies, but they were all usually pretty good. Nice book there.

It's the visual that did it.

I picked one up once. Had Luke Skywalker vs. Darth Maul's "spirit". Art was weak, but the story was decent.

Even though I a, big star wars fan. I never read/collected comics on them. As for fett he was a character I did like in the films. I did read a few book series though. The young han solo book.. and the one with leia and han kids. I would be curious to check out the book.
