Hawkman film in the works?

Could a hawkman film be on its way. There has been a few reports in last few days that wb could be looking into getting a hawkman film off the ground. They have a logline out online and are looking for writers. Here is the story at latinoreview:

Would be neat if a hawkman film happens. But who knows if it will happen any time soon. More so if gl fails good luck any second/third teir guys getting there time to shine. I did enjoy shanks/sv take on the character. So would be neat to see a big budget film for him. But flash would seem to be the most likely character to be getting film first after gl. Since there has been off/on develpment onbflash in the past few yrs.

Yeah, seems to me like THE FLASH film has been in 'development hell' forever & a day! At one time they even wanted Ryan Reynolds to play Flash. He's now playing Green Lantern, so go figure.

IF WB/DC would take the MARVEL STUDIOS approach, we'd have a Flash film probably in the same 'vein' as THOR. No 'over-analyzing' the situation like Nolan does, just a FUN SUMMER MOVIE! And you know that Flash would work with the family entertainment & all. Just think of the marketing possibilities! Dolls, toys, T-shirts, etc., etc.

I totally agree non. Flash would be the perfect fun family film and all that.
