Perry White. Who Would YOU Pick?

Me, I would go for someone out of "left field", but I think would OWN the role.
Ray Liotta.
The guy can act, be mellow, then just EXPLODE on a moment's notice.
Perry White should do this too.

Hmm hard choice here. I know of that ray guy. Wouldn't mind him to much. Dan I don't think I know his work. I don't know who I would fully like but some like alec baldwin would be nice.

How about Hugh Laurie? 
I'm sure you're aware that he was who Singer originally wanted for Perry White in Singerman but I believe his 'House' duties didn't permit it or something. I'm sure you're also aware that Singer produces House. Nevertheless Hugh Laurie is a GREAT actor! And he does a convincing American accent because if you've ever heard him talk on late-night talk shows, he really sounds very British!
Interestingly, 'Kumar' the mute went from Singerman to being a medical student/intern type gig on HOUSE. And he actually talked! Whoda thunk it?! At least he won't be in the SUPERMAN reboot.

On his own merits, I wouldn't mind Laurie taking on the role. My only beef with the idea is that Herr Bailey would spray his shorts if Laurie was announced as the new Perry; anything that makes that miserable fuck happy is verboten in my eyes.non_amos wrote:How about Hugh Laurie?

Actually... I think colors suggestion was a pretty good one.
I think he's got the build, the voice and is probably the right age for perry white.
after thinking about it my suggestion would be james caan.

James Caan is a fine suggestion, but he is too "tough guy" to be believable as Perry White.
