R.I.P Paul Walker

Died in a car crash out here in Southern California today. Sad news.

I was just watching 'Fast & Furious 6' around the time it happened. Crazy.

What a way to go. There was a crapton of confusion about this on Facebook because some people thought it was a hoax at first. And to be fair, I think this very thing popped a while back as a hoax and some people might've remembered that and thought this was the same fake-out rearing its head.

I generally hold Hollywood as a business and as a culture in immensely low regard but Walker always seemed like a cool guy, a straight-shooter and a pretty good actor. Hollywood lost something important here, if you ask me. And you didn't. So there you go.

Don't claim to have been a fan of Paul Walker but wasn't his name at one time one of the possibilities for playing Superman? Not that that matters now, I just seem to remember it at some point.

I revisited the first five F&F films last summer, but missed out on 6 for theaters because I was too late. He's part of the family in these movies, so I'm not sure how anyone would be able to keep on going without him. Way too young. RIP
