Skyfall, The Hobbit and The Avengers Nominated for Academy Awards!

All this week, the nominations for various awards have been announced, but today the one you've all been waiting for is here, the Oscar nominations! Of the movies we covered last year, Skyfall came away with the most nominations at five, including Best Cinematography, Best Original Score, Best Song, Best Sound Editing and Best Sound Mixing. The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey managed three nominations including Best Makeup, Best Production Design, and Best Visual Effects. Marvel's The Avengers and Prometheus each received one nomination, both in the Best Visual Effects category.

But, but, but, where is duh hulking 190-lb. Hardly Bane?! Oh, crushed by THE HULK, that's where! But Avengers still won't get best film though. That will go to something that barely made any box office because it's an 'art' film. I guess some things never change huh?
