YouTube Video & Picture Issues
Here's some help for some of you from one of our Mods:
If you need more help, ask for it in HERE.
YouTube has a policy of assigning a unique URL to videos depending upon the source. If you click on it from the homepage, it assigns one URL. If you click on it from the list of suggestions from some other URL, it assigns a different URL.
Sometimes the only way to get the proper URL (which is apparently all forum-motion can recognize) is copy the title of said video and search for it or find it from the YouTube members video page or something else.
Failure to comply with that second paragraph can result in some of the problems we have observed by a few individuals on this board.
I don't think we've ever come right out and said what the issue is here (an "id10t error" if there ever was one) so there you go.
If you need more help, ask for it in HERE.

For those of you having trouble hosting pictures, here is the easiest way to do it.
1. Click the "Host An Image" icon.
2. Click "Choose File"
3. Choose your file.
4. Click "Host It"
5. When it shows you the different options, the easiest thing to do it to copy & paste the last option, which is the image URL.
6. Click the "Image" icon.
7. Paste the URL
8. Click "Ok"
And you're all done.

Here's a little tip for those of you with YouTube issues:
When you are trying to post a vid you found on a site OTHER than YouTube, it will have not only the URL, but an "embed code" too. That won't work here. Hit the little YouTube sign on the bottom right of the video in question:
<-------
This will open a new window with the video at YouTube. Copy that URL, and paste it in the "Video" tab above.
You should be fine & dandy then.
