Just like tdkr/avengers the spidey teaser has leaked. From one of those chinese video player sites:

As ever, I maintain that this reboot is entirely unnecessary. That said though, the teaser (what I could see of it) looked okay.

Well, one thing it has going for it is that Emma Stone is a BIG step-up from SnaggleTooth Dunst.

Seriously another origin for a franchise that started a little less that 10 years ago...
I would have been happy with just a new movie with just Lizard. By the way, wasn't the Lizard the villain in the Toby McGuire's Spider-Man 4 before the studio nix it?

Yep! I believe so. But there was also talk of the VULTURE but I believe the guy that Raimi wanted to play that part couldn't do it or something. I think.

He wanted John Malkovich for the role, but it never happened.

The Kingsley thing had to come from somewhere so I figured I'd check it out. Seems the Kingsley stuff surfaced while Raimi was hashing out Spider-Man 3, not 4.

From the stuff I tripped over in pursuing the above, you're right, it was apparently always Malkovich in line for the role in Spider-Man 4. I saw Ben Kingsley in a really weird film called SEXY BEAST that came out years ago. Not particularly one of my favorite films but *spoilers*, really weird how Kingsley's character met his 'untimely end' buried underneath the swimming pool. Basically a crime drama of sorts. At the time I wasn't really familiar with Kingsley. Maybe I need to watch that again?
