Not too shabby.
Sony Pictures' "Spider-Man" reboot finally found themselves a new Uncle Ben in Martin Sheen. The actor is in final negotiations to play the character in the film being directed by Marc Webb. He joins up on the cast that already includes Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone and Rhys Ifans.
Uncle Ben, as you may or may not know, plays a big part in Peter Parker's life when it comes to the ultimate decision of using his powers for good when his uncle dies thanks to the actions of a scumbag burglar. Principal photography for the reboot is set to begin this December. "Spider-Man" is locked in for a release date of July 3rd, 2012.
Not too shabby.

I'll come right out and say it, I was never nuts about Cliff Robertson as Uncle Ben. He was okay but he just seemed a bit too feeble. I always thought Uncle Ben should have some warmth and life to him so that when he checks out, the tone of the Parker house will TOTALLY change. Robertson? He never really brought that across, if you ask me.Apologist Puncher wrote:http://www.latinoreview.com/news/martin-sheen-joins-the-spider-man-reboot-11623Sony Pictures' "Spider-Man" reboot finally found themselves a new Uncle Ben in Martin Sheen. All this to say that, yeah, I can deal with Martin Sheen.
Come think of it, apart from the fact that Sony is rebooting at all, I don't really have any real gripes with the new Spider-Man.

Solid casting for ben. Also sheen is a great actor and a good big name on board. Can't wait to see how ben is used in the reboot.
