'Superman Infinite City'
Just curious if anyone has read this?
I was in a Best Buy back in '05, and they had this hard cover. I liked the "animated" look to it, so I paid the $19.95 for it. Loved it. Carlos Meglia's art IS in an animated style, but a highly-detailed animated style. The story is about a criminal in Metropolis using a highly advanced weapon, and after Superman puts a stop to him, Clark & Lois go about finding out where it came from. They end up being sucked into a "pocket dimension", where Superman's powers go wonky, he meets the "spirit" of his father is in a robot there, and his "brother" is the law.
It really is a fun read, and I suggest you check it out if you haven't already.
Oh, and I heard Carlos Meglia passed away a few short years ago. Such a shame, as he was VERY talented. RIP.

Re: 'Superman Infinite City'
I saw the hardcover in my LCS a few years back. Never took a chance on it. The artwork looked solid, but I was afraid that the story wasn't so hot as a result. How would you rate the story, AP?

Re: 'Superman Infinite City'
It's nothing too "deep". It's just a fun little story about a "pocket dimension". I'd give it a 7 out of 10 just for the sheer fun-factor.
It would make a good "All Ages" Animated DVD.

The "fun" factor covers a multitude of sins, in my book. I'll give it a shot the next time I see it on a shelf.

I have zero regrets for plopping down $20 for the hardcover when I saw it.
